No Kings, No Oil Wars! — Rallies and actions nationally and locally. Details TBA.

Join your neighbors Sunday, Jan 25. IWCCC hosts its monthly community meeting 3:30-5 pm at the Good Table Cafe, 5166 Sobrante Ave., El Sobrante to work a plan to defend democracy, protect our neighbors and progressive values in San Francisco’s East Bay. Now is the time to strike back, in the wake of our three highly successful No Kings Day protests in El Sobrante in 2025, each of which drew 600-900 people and helped bring about the Prop 50 election landslide victory! There are a lot of things to do:

We are located northeast of San Francisco, CA.

We use the El Sobrante downtown location for special events like the Saturday, October 18 ‘No Kings / Let’s Kick Out the Clowns’ protest, “Good Trouble Friday” on July 18, in honor of the late US Representative and civil rights icon John Lewis, etc., in coordination with Mobilize, 50-50-1 and other pro-democracy organizations.

Massive New Grassroots Movement Is Scaring the Hell out of Trump

  • “Get in good trouble, necessary trouble, and redeem the soul of America.” John Lewis made this statement on the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Alabama on March 1, 2020 commemorating the tragic events of Bloody Sunday, March 7, 1965 when peaceful civil rights protesters were beaten by law enforcement officers for crossing the bridge. Lewis and others like Amelia Boynton Robinson were beaten so badly they were hospitalized.
